GU Survey Coordinating Group: AY23-24 Membership: As Georgetown begins the next academic year, the Survey Coordinating Group resumes review of new applications to survey the GU community. New and returning members of the SCG review and provide guidance for internal survey research plans of greater than 100 individuals. Read more to submit a survey request.

Faculty / Staff / AAP Cultural Climate Survey Results Shared: Reports and presentation slide decks have been shared internally and through discussion sessions with executive leadership/IDEAA and Survey Advisory Committees for both faculty and staff/AAPs. New In-Person Standard Questionnaire Approved for SET

After the conclusion of more than two years of research and development toward an updated questionnaire for end-of-semester course evaluations, MCEF have approved a new survey to be implemented for in-person classes beginning fall 2023.

COFHE Enrolled Student Survey Now Live!

As a participant among the Consortium on Financing Higher Education (COFHE), Georgetown’s participation in the Enrolled Student Survey (ESS) provides a comparative perspective of the student community in relation to other higher education institutions. GU’s Survey Calendar provides survey dates for ESS and other evaluation windows.

The Student Voices project, which had collected student responses to an omnibus survey composed of questions submitted by stakeholder offices across Georgetown, has been analyzed and reports shared. New Report on Inclusive Pedagogy Released: Based on the results of the 2020 Cultural Climate Student Survey, this report by the Center for New Designs in Learning & Scholarship (CNDLS), in collaboration with IDEAA and OADS, uses an inclusive pedagogy framework to align survey findings to practical advice for faculty about ways to incorporate inclusive pedagogical practices into their classrooms, teaching, and relationships with students.
