Student Surveys
Student Cultural Climate Survey
In partnership with the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity and Affirmative Action (IDEAA), the Student Cultural Climate Survey explores how students meaningfully engage their communities around issues of diversity, perceptions of institutional diversity, representation of marginalized groups and experiences within the cultural climate on campus.

Higher Education Sexual Misconduct and Awareness (HESMA) Survey
Launched along with 9 other schools as the Higher Education Sexual Misconduct and Awareness (HESMA) survey, this research examines the prevalence and incidence of sexual assault and sexual misconduct occurring within the community, attitudes among students about the campus climate regarding sexual assault, and knowledge of university resources available to students.

Faculty/Staff Surveys
COACHE Survey
The Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) Survey, organized by the Harvard School of Education, covers several topics including research environment and institutional support, teaching load and student quality, and institutional governance and leadership. GU partners with COACHE every two years to invite all full-time tenured, tenure-track, and non-tenure track faculty to provide feedback.
- Population: All tenure-line faculty and full-time non-tenure line faculty on the Main Campus (including Qatar), as well as full-time faculty (tenure-line and clinical faculty) at the Medical Center

Faculty and Staff/AAP Cultural Climate Surveys
The Faculty and Staff/academic administrative professional (AAP) Cultural Climate Surveys, led by the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer, in partnership with the OADS office, seeks to assess the experiences of our faculty and staff/AAPs to help inform how we can enhance and build meaningful programs and support systems to ensure an inclusive environment for all members of our community.

National College Health Assessment (NCHA)
A nationally recognized research survey developed by the ACHA that enables Georgetown to collect data on students’ health habits, behaviors, and perceptions.

Academic Engagement “Pulse” Surveys
In order to better understand, and react quickly to, the successes and challenges of learning in a remote environment, OADS collaborated with the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship to capture students’ and faculty members’ voices throughout 2020 and 2021 as we learned and worked in a virtual environment.
